At Unsworth Global Logistics, we are proud to announce that we are winners of the ‘Sustainable Logistics’ BIFA award, sponsored by Red Recruit.
BIFA awards ceremony has been rewarding high quality standards across the UK freight forwarding industry for 27 editions.
2015 BIFA awards, celebrated yesterday 21st January 2016, were held by Sally “Traffic” Boazman, the BBC Radio 2 travel reporter.
The team at Unsworth were nominated this year for both ‘Staff development’ and ‘Sustainable logistics’ awards, recognizing our efforts in staff training and our dedication and flexible approach to developing 'greener' solutions for our customers.
After enjoying an excellent luncheon at The Brewery in Central London, the winners were announced.
Unsworth was chosen for our commitment to environmental sustainability. An example of this is our car racking system that allows us to ship up to 4 vehicles in 1 container. This loading method has allowed us to save costs for our clients and save the environment by reducing the carbon footprint in our activities.
Take a look for yourself to see how this method has won us the Sustainable logistics award. https://youtu.be/kQiKRH0sshU
